Project Description:

Pfizer Corporation conducts drug metabolism research in these state-of-the-art bioanalytical facilities within Building 300, one of the world's largest pharmaceutical research centers.

The building includes airfoil fume hoods of advanced design ensure positive exhaust of vapors. The hoods are also highly-efficient energy savers. Custom-built fixed and moveable casework accommodate high-pressure liquid chromatographs (HPLC), gas chromatographs (GC), mass spectrometers and other computerized laboratory equipment.

In addition, research flexibility is provided by a modular layout and utility infrastructure specially designed to accommodate change. Routine processing, analysis and documentation of hundreds of drug samples is accomplished by high-technology robotic equipment that continuously operates, 24-hours per day.

Test results are electronically recorded, substantially increasing the productivity of scientists and technicians.
