The Austin Company designed and constructed a new manufacturing facility for Stanley Electric Mexico, in the Colinas de Lagos Industrial and Business Park in Lagos de Moreno, Jalisco, Mexico.

Stanley Electric, a manufacturer of LED-based headlight and taillight assemblies for automobiles and motorcycles, was founded in 1920 in Japan, with their Mexican distribution base established in 2013.

Stanley Electric’s manufacturing process includes blow molding, electrodeposition (shiny reflector material) and multi-color injection molding of complex lens components, which are then assembled into today’s modern transportation lighting mechanisms. They are critical components that provide high visibility, energy efficiency and safety. Headlights and taillights also form an important styling feature on today’s automobiles and motorcycles. The Stanley Mexico plant will support Japanese automobile manufacturers in Mexico.

The facility includes office, manufacturing and distribution areas totaling approximately 240,000 SF.
