With VDC, clients can see rendered 3D views of their designs and simulate construction schedules long before a shovel hits the ground, providing a deeper understanding of the project and revealing areas that can be optimized. This results in fewer changes after the design is complete, lowering project costs and allowing for better control of the project schedule.

Level of Development (LOD) is an industry standard by which Austin professionals clearly define and communicate with clients the content of building information models at different stages in the design and construction of a project, allowing us to better define deliverables, establish responsibilities, and ultimately deliver on our promises.
Virtual and Augmented Reality
Beyond 3D modeling, Austin uses virtual reality (VR) and augmented reality (AR) to bring clients’ projects to life before they are constructed.
With VR, the entire 3D environment is digitally created allowing clients to “fly” or “walk” inside and around their virtual facility. With AR, digital information, such as the building information model, is placed into the real world environment, providing an enhanced experience that allows for real-time collaboration.
