As Senior Vice President of Finance, Mark Phillips oversees the corporate accounting function, which serves all of The Austin Company’s business units. In addition, Mark is responsible for financial reporting and controls, financial planning and analysis, and risk management, as well as all tax and treasury obligations for the Company. He has held this role since 2005 and leads a centralized accounting team based in Cleveland, Ohio.
Previously, Mark served as Vice President and Controller for the Company. He joined Austin in 1973 as a Field Clerk. He later became a Project Accountant, working with many of Austin’s clients, including General Cable, Exxon, Amstar and Alcon Laboratories. He subsequently held a broad range of roles, from Supervisory Accountant to General Auditor, all of which capitalized on his knowledge and extensive financial expertise.
