Ed joins Austin with more than 35 years’ experience in the food industry, specializing in operational management and the design, implementation and startup of new meat and poultry processing facilities. Ed’s background includes experience in all phases of plant operations, management and manufacturing coordination. Prior to Austin, Ed was president and CEO of a national design and construction firm that specializes in meat and poultry facilities.
As Project Executive, Ed coordinates and monitors project teams to ensure that Austin delivers services as committed to the client, while upholding the Company’s Core Values. Ed serves as Austin’s executive liaison to the client from project inception through post construction.
Ed is a graduate of Pennsylvania State University, with a Bachelor of Science degree in animal industry/food science and a Master of Science degree in animal science.
David K. Oshins, PE, LEED®, Senior Project Manager, Cleveland
David joins Austin with more than 20 years’ experience in mechanical engineering and project management, specializing in building design. Previously, David was director of regional design operations with an international design and construction firm. David’s background includes significant experience in HVAC, plumbing and fire protection design.
As Senior Project Manager, David manages client relationships, as well as the full lifecycle of Austin’s design and construction projects. In this role, David coordinates all aspects of the project, including engineering, construction, purchasing, accounting and estimating.
David is a graduate of Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, with a Bachelor of Science degree in mechanical engineering, and is a Licensed Professional Engineer in six states.
