The Austin Company, a leading national designer, engineer and constructor is seeking a self-motivated Project Accounting Assistant. This position is at the company’s Corporate office in Cleveland, OH . The Austin Company continues to expand services across the nation and is seeking a highly motivated and individual to support project accountants with entry level accounting duties, data entry and reporting. The Austin Company is a long standing premier Design Builder and was founded over 140 years ago.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Enter A/P and vendors into Viewpoint
- A/P voucher creation
- Execute vendor payment release
- Confirm receipt of fully executed subcontractors/change orders
- Confirm receipt of certificates of insurance and enter/maintain in Procore
- Confirm receipt of vendor W-9’s
- Collect, verify and maintain subcontractor lien waivers
- Collect approvals for A/P invoices
- Collect support for monthly billings
- Maintain vendor A/P invoice schedules via monthly reminders/emails
- Coordinate/schedule meetings for monthly job condition statement reviews
- Provide support for monthly job cost wage transfers
Qualifications
- Minimum 2-year Associates degree OR 5 years of related experience
- HS Diploma
- Demonstrated experience with spreadsheets/excel
- Data entry and word processing skills
- Aptitude for numbers
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
