About Omar Sheikh
As Chief Civil and Structural Engineer for The Austin Company, Omar Sheikh is involved in all structural engineering phases, including the design calculation, details of building components, equipment foundations, and utility supports. Omar received his Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering (emphasis in Structural Engineering) from the University of Southern California. He also holds a Bachelor of Science in Physics from the University of San Francisco. He is a Registered Professional Civil Engineer, a LEED® Accredited Professional, member of the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE), and the American Institute of Steel Construction (AISC).
