Acme Smoked Fish, a producer of smoked fish products for more than 100 years, partnered with
Austin to expand production through a major facility renovation. Originally designed for fish salad
processing, the plant was transformed into a sliced cold smoke and packaging facility with Austin’s
planning, design, engineering, and construction services. Working within a landlocked site, Austin
optimized the existing space to improve efficiency, production capacity, and workflow. The result
was a streamlined facility layout that met Acme’s goals and significantly enhanced operational
performance.
