The Austin Company partnered with Northrop Grumman to deliver a design-build solution for the 11,680 SF B179 Remodel in Azusa, California, completed between March 2023 and May 2025. The project created a secure, ICD-705-compliant facility to support specialized military operations, incorporating vehicle access modifications, robust exhaust systems, and enhanced power infrastructure. Scope highlights included replacing cranes and adding a platform above the single-floor layout to optimize functionality. Through integrated design, engineering, and construction services, Austin ensured seamless coordination, minimized schedule risks, and maintained strict compliance with security standards. The result is a modernized, mission-ready facility that exemplifies Austin’s expertise in executing complex, secure projects with precision and efficiency.
