Tokyo Roki is a manufacturer of automotive components, including exhaust emission control systems; oil, fuel and cabin filters; intake manifolds; and ventilators, among others.
The new 78,000 SF facility produces catalysts for automotive exhaust systems. The manufacturing process includes blending raw material in kilns, soaking and baking processes.
Schematic design was prepared by the Kajima Design team in Tokyo. Austin worked with a local architect and design-build trade subcontractors in Mexico to complete the construction documents.
The project team worked on punch list items, while Tokyo Roki moved process equipment from an existing building into the new 78,000 SF facility. New and existing furniture was moved to the office area.
Austin, in connection with Alberici Constructors, provided design and construction services for this project.
