The Austin Company delivered full planning, architectural design, engineering, and construction management services for the 1.5 million SF Delta IV Launch Vehicle Assembly Center. Built for Boeing, the facility maintains a controlled 72°F environment with clean conditions equivalent to Class 100,000–300,000 in many areas. Its expansive, column‑free spaces are supported by 110‑ to 175‑foot jack trusses, with building heights reaching up to 140 feet. The center also includes major utilities such as a 4,000 BHP steam plant and a 7,500‑ton chilled water plant, along with extensive overhead cranes, cleanrooms, composite manufacturing areas, and six building‑within‑a‑building paint and spray booths.
