This project strategically relocated and expanded masa product production to optimize operations and meet increased demand. Production capabilities were moved from Franklin, WI, to Hanover, PA, requiring demolition and installation of new equipment, including six chip kettles and packaging lines. Additionally, two kettle and packaging lines were added to Salem, OR, to support west coast distribution, resulting in a total of 28 million pounds of added chip production capacity. This initiative improved operational efficiency, reduced costs, and enhanced supply chain resilience. Successfully completed on schedule, the project bolstered production capacity, ensuring a steady supply of high-quality masa products and positioning the company for future growth.
