About James Abeshima
As Senior Vice President of Construction, James Abeshima brings over 30 years of experience in various leadership positions within the construction sector, a significant portion of which has been with Austin’s sister companies. His distinguished career is marked by a series of successful projects and innovative approaches that have significantly contributed to the growth and development of the organizations he has worked with. James’s extensive knowledge in project management, strategic planning, and team leadership will make him an invaluable addition to Austin’s executive team. He holds a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Washington State University and is bilingual in both English and Japanese. Additionally, he has served on the Board of Directors of the General Contractors Association, Boy Scouts National Eagle Scout Association, and Contractors Association of Kauai, among other organizations.
