About Mark Phillips
As Vice President of Risk Management, Mark Phillips is responsible for evaluating, managing and mitigating risk associated with all aspects of Austin’s operations, procedures, projects and financials. Mark ensures that Austin is compliant with the appropriate insurances to operate legally in both the US and Mexico. In addition, Mark will be accountable for auditing projects, procedures and project financials to identify potential risks and recommend mitigation strategies.
Previously, Mark served as Senior Vice President of Finance. He joined Austin in 1973 as a Field Clerk. He later became a Project Accountant, working with many of Austin’s clients, including General Cable, Exxon, Amstar and Alcon Laboratories. He subsequently held a broad range of roles, from Supervisory Accountant to Senior Vice President of Finance, all of which capitalized on his knowledge and extensive financial expertise.
