Melbourne, FL; November 11, 2014 – The Austin Company, in partnership with Northrop Grumman Aerospace Systems, has been recognized by Engineering News Record (ENR) Southeast for their work on Northrop Grumman’s Building 228 – Manned Aircraft Design Center of Excellence. This is the project’s second design and construction award.
Building 228 was selected in the 2014 ENR Regional Best Projects Awards Southeast Region with an Award of Merit in the Office/Retail/Mixed-Use Category. The Austin Company provided full planning, design, engineering and construction management services for this project.
Bill Trillo, Director of Facilities Site Management East with Northrop Grumman Aerospace Systems, stated:

The Regional Best Projects Awards celebrate and honor the building teams that created the best projects of 2014 nationwide. These extraordinary projects are selected by juries of local prominent industry professionals. Winning projects represent the “best” construction and design achievements of the past year for the Southeast region.
ENR’s Southeast Region Best Project Awards were recently recognized at a special event in Orlando, Florida.
